The availability of specific surface finish and dimension combination depends on the steel grade.

 

Delivery forms

Coils with inside diameter of 200, 300, 400 and 500 mm depending on strip width and thickness. Other coil inside diameters on request. Coil weight up to 10 kg/mm strip width. Can also be supplied on spools on request.

 

Tolerances

Width and thickness tolerances to EN 10258 (formerly DIN 59381). Closer tolerances can be agreed on.

 

Mechanical properties

  • EN 10088 Stainless steel strip (general)
  • EN 10151 Stainless steel strip for springs (any strength within the normal range is possible)

Outokumpu has the largest stainless steel portfolio in the market — we can deliver precision strips in any grade of stainless steel. Our wide range includes common grades such as austenitic and ferritic, apart from specialized grades that include martensitic precipitation-hardening (PH) stainless steel Dura 6908 (Ultrafort 1.6908), and Duplex grades upon request.

Outokumpu stainless steel precision strip is available with embossed surfaces, deburred edges, fully rounded edges, spooled material, endless strip, and galvanized.
